    Default Resolving URLs problem since upgrade to 11.2 RC1

    Hello,

    Since upgrading to opensuse 11.2 RC1 from Milestone 8 my URLs cannot be resolved anymore?

    If you want help there isn't much to go on could you expand a bit

    sorry wasn't really clear

    In fact the webbrowsers are not able to resolve any URLs. So if you put in for example my router's URL http://fritz.box you will get an "this webpage is not available - name not resolved" but if you put 192.168.178.1 everything is working fine. MSN is not working either but skype does

    Try running the command " netconfig update -f"

    Delete /etc/resolv.conf and restart. DNS is not working on your
    computer and there are times that the system thinks you have modified
    resolv.conf and refuses to overwrite it.

    Copying resolv.conf.netconfig over resolv.conf solves the problem without the need to restart.
