Hello! pretty much a newbie here on kernel rebuilds. I had SuSe 9.x installed and the ACPI feature worked on this version, but installing 11.1, it no longer shuts down. I tried to add "acpi=yes apm=no" in the grub boot file, but it states "no acpi support in kernel". How do I add this support back into my kernel? Thanks!

It's a very old motherboard (1998?)... but a very good one :-) Try to use just "acpi=force" and see if that helps. Greetigs, -- Camaleón
