Thread: Which driver for nVidia GEForce GT220?

Default Which driver for nVidia GEForce GT220?

Hi, the nVidia web site says that there isn't a Linux driver yet for this card.

openSUSE 11.1 has set the graphics card as "VESA framebuffer graphics". The highest res I can get is 1280x1024.

Can anyone suggest a better setup? Can I install one of the openSUSE supported drivers from http://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/11.1?

    Thanks,

    David.

I checked here and none are listed as available: even in Beta
    Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

OEM card. No Linux support, see if your OEM will give you something else, or wait a few months as Nvidia is not to eager to give linux support for this card as of yet.

Thanks for the info. I'll see if Dell will swap it.
