USB Error message with VMWare
I've successfully installed VMWare server 2.0 on my Suse 11.1 system using the 2.6.27.29-0.1-default x86_64 kernel. Following the tips on these forums I've gotten VMWare to properly recognize my USB devices and they properly show up in the VMWare console's device menu. However, when I click on connect, I get the error message, "Remote USB device error: Remote device disconnected: an error occured while sending data." Right now I'm only attempting to connect a Canon MP470 printer, but I get the same message with any other device.
I've found nothing about this in the VMWare forums and am wondering if it is a Suse issue. Does anyone have a fix?
