Hi,

I tried to use qemu today to test an iso file, it seemed to be working fine, then at the loading stage everything seemed to stop (or be going so slow it would be quicker to go out and buy a blank CD).

Has anyone got experience with qemu?

Any advice to make it speed up/work?

I use it occasionally, but not with .iso. Qemu version 0.9.0 works for me, had problems with 0.10.x. and it was buggy I believe. For those reasons, I find it easier and quicker to use Qemu 0.9 still available on the latest version of another distro. However, for iso file I use VirtualBox (latest version).
