Hi all,
I wanted to install opensuse 11.1 because it is used frequently at our university, so I could get used to it. I downloaded and burned the ISO file and wanted to install it in dual boot with vista.
I’m actually a complete newbie to linux and heard that there could be some trouble due to vista. But didn’t bother that much about it. But now I get constantly an error notification when I try to install it. The error came after the installer was ready with the partition:
“Failure occured during following action:
Setting type of partition /dev/sda6 to 82
system error code was: -1012”
Does anybody have an idea what the solution could be? I booted in windows now and the suse installer actually made my windows partition smaller, but it gives this error notification each time I try to install it.
