Default MS Windows Shares not present

I am a newbie and set up Samba. I got the opensuse 11.1 box sharing user directories which I can see. I can see my windows PC in the workgroup. Its missing its shares to browse. Any ideas?

Yes that is how I set up Samba from that site but was left with this problem. The site is very good though and I know why you referred me to it.

What is interesting is that I set up Ubuntu and it worked from the standard configuration without any Samba config. However there wireless drivers did not work very well. That is why I moved to openSUSE.

    Post output of

    cat /etc/samba/smb.conf
    Maybe something obvious there.

ok now I can connect to the windows shares and see the folders on the share. Strangely I cant see them in the file browser. They are when I connect to server and add a bookmarkand browse the bookmark. Any ideas?

    # smb.conf is the main Samba configuration file. You find a full commented
    # version at /usr/share/doc/packages/samba/examples/smb.conf.SUSE if the
    # samba-doc package is installed.
