    Default WLAN Problem: openSUSE 11.1

    Hi openSUSE Forum =)

    BCM4318 [Airforce One 54g] 802.11g

Die Ausgabe des Scripts sieht so aus:

    Code:
    collectNWData.sh V0.6.1.15 (Rev: 1.165, Build: 2009/09/02 18:39:22)

Sorry to not reply in German. I can read it, but my writing skills
    have decayed.

You must install the firmware for the BCM4318. If you have Internet
access in openSUSE, then open a terminal and enter the following commands:

    sudo /usr/sbin/install_bcm43xx_firmware
    sudo /sbin/modprobe -rv b43
    sudo /sbin/modprobe -v b43

At this point, you should be able to see your access point with the
    command

    sudo /usr/sbin/iwlist scan

You should also be able to configure the wireless network using
NetworkManager of ifup, whichever you choose.
