    Default Adeona

Have anyone heard about Adeona project?

Adeona: A Free, Open Source System for Helping Track and Recover Lost and Stolen Laptops

What happened to the project? It's stuck from a half year...
Will it work again? or is there a similar project?
    Sorry for my bad English

ok, sorry...i'd be surprised if anyone here has info more current than
that web site, or available from that site....but, you are welcome to
sit here and wait until someone tells you the latest..

ah...i found that the required back end openDHT is no longer
available...so says the guy who created the Adeona project [Sean Rhea
Sun, 3 May 2009 19:41:07 -0700]: "You are free to set up your own
instance on PlanetLab, and you're free to share that instance with
others as you see fit. You're just not going to be able to share my
    instance any more."

    cite: http://www.opendht.org/

so, until you or someone else wanting to use Adeona steps up and does
something other than sitting and waiting . . .
