Default Problem with sound opensuse 11.1

Hello! I have a problem with sound in opensuse.

    The sound problem is in:

    -youtube videos (flash in general)
    -banshee (when playing mp3)

The sound is choppy and flash videos are kinda choppy and slow too. In youtube there is only the red filling bar, not the grey.

I have got an old pc but in windows or ubuntu i didnt experience simiral sound problems.

    My pc:

    pentium III, 1ghz
    GeForce 5200FX
    Creative Sound Blaster AudioPCI 128

Any help would be highly appreciated!
    Thank you in advance.

I made some progress and tried using other media players. For example in xine everything seems better, so i guess it banshee's issue.
    So whats wrong with bashee?
And whats wrong with flash and youtube videos?

Do you have all of the gstreamer plugins installed? You will need the good, bad and ugly plugins.

I had the very same problem and the solution was to reset the sound adapter configuration under Yast and adjusting the volume in the same window (there is an option at the bottom)

    Now flash sounds are alright.

    Hope that helped,

    Pancho
