    Default Software update menu

    Hello Everybody,
I got a new problem today.
When I select the menu to install/remove/update, the application start and just before to display the menu, get an error message:
"YaST got signal 11 at YCP file PackagesUI.ycp:233
    /sbin/yast2: line 440: 7624 Erreur de segmentation $ybindir/y2base $module "$@" "$SELECTED_GUI" $Y2_GEOMETRY $Y2UI_ARGS
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module": libpk-gtk-module.so: Ne peut ouvrir le fichier d'objet partag: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type"

If I open a cli window, I can reach the same application and run the updates anyway.
    What is it wrong ?
    Thank You
    Jerome

On 11.1, I seem to remember there being an error like this with the version of YaST at release.

You may well find that running it or 'zypper up' from a root command shell will fix it... Post back if after you're fully updated, you still have problems.

You're not having much luck, are you?

    You could try

    Code:
    su -
    zypper ref
    rpm --rebuilddb
(although I have to admit that's clutching at straws...)

    Hello,
You know what ? No ...
    Following result.
    linux-1eg7:/home/tringaf # zypper ref
    Le dpt 'Banshee' est jour.
    Le dpt 'GNOME:Backports:2.26_1' est jour.
    Le dpt 'GNOME:STABLE:2.26_1' est jour.
    Le dpt 'Packman' est jour.
    Le dpt 'mozilla' est jour.
    Le dpt 'repo-debug' est jour.
    Le dpt 'repo-non-oss' est jour.
    Le dpt 'repo-oss' est jour.
    Le dpt 'repo-source' est jour.
    Le dpt 'repo-update' est jour.
Tous les dpts ont t rafrachis.
    linux-1eg7:/home/tringaf # rpm --rebuilddb

would it a repo missing that would avoid something to be updated ?
    Thank you so far

    Dear Confuseling,
I finally found the problem. The point was at repositories side.I already notice that in the past where I could not download from them after an update threw the install cd.They was active but unusable.
This time, I had to cancel several of them and create them new again. Even if the url was strictly equal.
    Thank you for your help
    Jerome
