Because a hardware problem I changed my old Novell 4.11 for OpenSuse 11.1 server, I install and configure Samba and put all files from my Novell in the samba directory (IDX, DBF, EXE, CDX), I keep the same directory structure. In my XP stations create a new Samba volume and I try to execute the programs in my new Samba. Here the problems began, for example, I need to execute the programs created in Clipper or in Visual Fox Pro, from my XP station so I doubleclick and the programs run, but error messages from the programs showing up, like “The DBF don’t exist.”.
So, someone has experience this kind of problems, anyone has some experience making this change?.
