dev/mapper problems

Dear all!

I tried to create a RAID in OpenSuse11.1. As I have no idea about… I did many things. In the first tries I was supposed to be able to install the system… but it didn’t starts…

When I decided to mekes my life easy and avoid the RAID creation, I tried to eliminate the rests of the dev/mapper/----whatever device that include /dev/sda;sdb;sdc.

Swiming in the menus, I was able to delete this and create a simple partition table…

But when the system tries to eliminate the dev/mapper/-- disk… It can not do it and an error appears…

I tried to install UBUNTU to see if anther system could bypass it… The system anly detect the physical drives. The partition table was created… It was installed but… it didn’t start.

When you try to install again Suse… The dev/mapper disks still remains…

To be sure… I install Vista (sorry for this word  ) New partitions were created, but again Suse maintain the /dev/mapper device… and it’s not possible to eliminate it

PLEASE anybody could help me?

Where the dev/mapper information is?

I tried to leave only 1 disk and it’s the same, to change the ordet and nothing different occurs…

I am complitelly near the border…
