    Default change default session type

    Hello,

I am using open suse 11.1 with KDE4. I changed some software packages an with that i got KDE3 on my system (maybe because of some package dependencies). Now there are KDE 4 and 3 parrallel installed.

The problem is the auto login starts KDE3 in place of KDE4. Do anyone know where i can change the configuration for the default session type, so that KDE4 is automatically started?

    thank you!

Better to disable auto login and choose the session you want. If you choose kde4 it will default to that each time unless you manually select kde3.

Okay, thank you. I don't know why I don't notice that before.

By the way. For home-use I activate the auo-login function, it is much more comfortable.

    Thank you!

No worries. As you wish. It's generally considered safer not to use it and certainly makes for a simpler addressing of login issues.
