Thread: Error Fd0 Block0

  1. #1

    Default Error Fd0 Block0

I get the above error on boot,
It repeats 5 times and slows down getting
    to grub.

I have tried another hard disk but with
    the same result.

It is not there with 11.1

Looks like your system is set to trying to boot from floppy first. Is it on in BIOS, or do you have an entry for fd0 in /boot/grub/device.map? If so, remove the entry.

    Knurph,

Thankyou for your reply, I did check my bias as I
do not have a floppy drive.

How ever when I entered a floppy the problem went.
I then changed back to none and it is still OK.

    Thanks
