Default Pb with vmplayer 2.5.3 under opensuse 11.2, KDE 4.3.0

    Dear forum readers,

I have recently had a problem with vmware: the mouse is captured only if it is in the upper left 640*480 part of the screen !
If ever it goes beyond that limit then the pointer turns back to a hand and belong to Linux host and the keyboard also with some strange changes such as shift and caps lock not functioning any more in the host unless I type setxkbmap in a console.
In fact, I have had this problem a priori since my installing KDE 4.3.0 (just before installing opensuse 11.2 M5). At that time I had opensuse 11.1, KDE 4.3.0, vmplayer 2.5.2 and it used to work up to full 1920*1080 screen with KDE 4.2.4.
I am now with opensuse 11.2 and vmplayer 2.5.3, but the Pb is still there.
I saw on the vmware community forum that others have had the same problem with different distributions but I did not find any way out.

Finally, I must say that I have tested that the Pb is the same when vmplayer is run under twm and not KDE, so that I believe this has more to do with the x11 libraries than the QT libraries...

I use temporary workaround for ungrab mouse problem

    1. start guest OS
    2. set needed window/screen size
    3. suspend guest OS (pause)
    4. start guest OS

    after this mouse work

I think vmware use screen size used when guest os started
After suspend/restor vmware use current window/screen size
