    Default USB DAC doesn't receive audio

    Hey all,
    I recently went ahead and installed openSUSE 11.1 on my laptop. I've been trying to get my USB DAC working so I can get some quality music. The DAC is recognized and I can select it and adjust the volume but I just can't get any sound to come out of it. I'm no linux pro (obviously, since I can't figure this out) but I can follow directions well and I have no problem working in terminal with some help on what to do.

    The funny thing is, the sound was working for a while at one time and then it stopped.

    I think this info may be helpful, so here it is;
    the laptop is a Sony VGN-FZ340N
    the USB controller chip on the DAC is a Burr-Brown PCM2707

    I didn't think this belonged in the laptop section but if it does please move it or let me know so I can post it up there.

    Any help is greatly appreciated. Please let me know if more information is needed to help me.

    A DAC is not a headset ... still, is there anything here that helps:
    USB headphones - openSUSE

    I do not have any USB audio devices so I can not provide any support.
