Unhappy Can't watch any video on Firefox!

    Hey guys,

I can't watch any video on firefox. The websites I've tried so far are youtube, TED, facebook. What I get is simply a white screen at the location of the video! Everything else sounds to be fine, no hanging, no crashing, nothing.

I have flash-player and flash-plugin installed. Please let me know what I should do. It's getting frustrating. I've been dealing with this issue for a week, but no progress has been made.

Extra Info out of "About Mozilla Firefox" tab:
    Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008103100 SUSE/3.0.4-4.7 Firefox/3.0.4

    Thanks

1st of all uninstall/delete all flash related stuffs through yast, software management. and then follow these tutorials:

    For 32bit:
Programming and Linux: Install flash plugin for Firefox/others in Linux

    For 64bit:
