    Default Run Command as Root

Under KDE3 the Run Command box had options whereby a program could be run as root, This does not seem to exist in KDE4, there are no options, well, nothing useful anyway. So in KDE4 how do I run open a program as root? I have tried using a terminal as SU and SUDO, I have put SU and SUDO in front of the program name in the run command box, but nothing seems to work.

Try 'kdesu program-name' in a terminal.

Thanks, that worked. But I still prefer the run command under KDE3.
