How to install emacs 23.1 on Suse 11.1

Hello,
Suse 11.1 comes with emacs 22.x installed. Does anybody know whether one can instrall emacs v. 23.1? And if yes, are there any special things that one should observe?

When seachhing for software not in the allready available repos configured on the system, one should ue: Webpin

When I go there and fill in ‘emacs’ and check 11.1, I do get emacs 23.1 (among other versions).
