There is an openSUSE wiki for Wacom tablets here:
Wacom USB tablet howto - openSUSE

... for users with Tablet PCs, there is a wiki here:
    TabletPCs - openSUSE

This morning I searched for, but could not find, an entry for tablets in the openSUSE HCL (Hardware Compatibility List). So I created a table in the HCL wiki under gadgets: HCL/Gadgets - openSUSE

A couple of years ago my wife purchased a tablet ( Megawin LaPazz ) to use with the WinXP Operating System (she is NOT a Linux fan). Last night, for fun, I decided to check if her table was "Wacom compatible" and if it would work under openSUSE-11.1. I learned it is not "Wacom compatible", and the most I could do was access the table memory via drag and drop from openSUSE-11.1. I made a note about her tablet in the HCL.

If you succeed re: your tablet, please update the HCL.

It is not that simple , should be configured with wacomcpl
but then I get devices mouse 3 ( stands for Tablet) , mouse 5 (pen) and mouse 7 (eraser).
    see etc/X11/xorg.conf

There is no option in those devices to let the zoom function from the tablet work.

please openSUSE make this better for all "wacom" tablet users this is not user friendly.

The guide notes that the file may not exist, and states to create the file if it is not present.

the wacom pen is working fine but the functions form the tablet itself like the circle zoom. Can not figure out how to get this work, wacomcpl

Sorry that I can't help ... as I have no tablet experience (other than the mostly unsuccessful effort with my wife's non-compatibible (with Linux) tablet).

I did put a place entry in the openSUSE HCL for your tablet (wacom bamboo fun) that I hope you can finish populating once you sort this: HCL/Gadgets - openSUSE
