Thread: Ipod not recognized / mounted

Default Ipod not recognized / mounted

I recently updated my KDE to 4.3. Now the system does not recognize my Ipod nano, but I can charge it. I tried it in Gnome with no success.

Before the update I was able to manage it (in KDE 4.2). I just added some libraries from the Yast and looked into the Security/ User/Group Management. There I selected "user," but nothing happened (trial an error since I do not understand many of the options).

    I use SUSE 11.1

    Thanks for any help.

Try Amarok. It shows my son's Nano as a collection. He uses Amarok to move parts of his music back and forth to his iPod.
You need to have libgpod installed.
