Hi, I have a Marvel 88E8056 Gigabit Integrated card, I also have a DGE530-T PCI card,and none of this devices work properly. I run OpenSuSE 11.1, and sorry to say it is pitifull I only get 100MB links on both cards it is impossible to go to 1Gig, I have spend the last 168 hours trying to find a solution on the web. My conclusion is that it has to do with the kernel SKGE, SKY and SK98lin drivers.
To top if off it is IMPOSSIBLE to patch the kernel when trying to install the Marvell drivers on OpenSuSE. The installpatch works only on Intel based motherboards but when I try run make xconfig it fails,on AMD motherboards the installpatch never works, do you know which group works on this drivers, or does anybody has a SOLUTION that can share.
