I am unable to configure dual monitors with ATI drivers from a clean install of the KDE 4.3 live CD by Stephan Binner. The ATI drivers install but when I use the ATI interface to configure dual monitors my second monitor is not recognized.
I previously had dual monitors working with the same ATI driver on a clean install of OpenSuse 11.1 with KDE 4.1.3.
When I upgrade from KDE 4.1.3 to KDE 4.3 my dual monitors work (with the same ATI driver that I tried with the KDE 4.3 Live CD).
Is this a KDE 4.3 issue or just a difference of installation packages on KDE 4.3 Live CD versus a clean install of OpenSuse 11.1?
