ssh / putty

Hello!

I just installed a Desktop with Open11.1, and also my notebook. In the last one I use the ServerSecure site, so I installed php,perl,tftpd, etc.

The problem is that I can't start nor a ssh nor a telnet session from the netbook to the desktop and from the desktop to the notebook.

But if I make locally a telnet localhost (notebook and desktop) it gave me a response, so I don't know what's hapenning.

Are you connecting from remote or from lan network (i.e., to a local ip)?

Stop the firewall service (rcSuSEfirewall2 stop) in both computers and try
again. If that works, open the corresponding port in firewall using yast.
