Well at that time we use Suse 9.X and it was so easy this days Suse11.1 should get it.
Im saying the Suse 11.1 should have no problem with today HARDWARE any hardware. Before Suse I use Mandrake/today Mandriva and I know how to get around. Only it is Im to nice for you and I look to get suse in the box first and the last time incl. donation.
PS: I have no more time till next year ,moving out and start for a big over 1.0000000000CDN$ project.
