    Unhappy Encountered nobody:nobody??

    I am using SuSE10 as NFSv4 client below:
    SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (x86_64)
    VERSION = 10
    PATCHLEVEL = 2

    and the NFSv4 server is Solaris 10

    If I mount directory from server with NFSv3, looks fine.. however when I mount from server with -fstype=nfs4.
    It gets mounted but it shows nobody as both user and group on SuSe10 client with rpc.idmapd running.. without it.. it just shows 4294967294 4294967294 as user and gorup, these ids does not exist on local nor NIS.

    Has anyone encountered this issue?

    Cheers,
    Komatta

    I don't know the answer to your problem. But someone may be able to help.
    Though you might be better in the appropriate forum, as this is openSUSE.
    You would be better here:
