Default only 2 users instead 7 at the login prompt

    Hi there,

it's probably a very silly question but I'm new to the system and don't know where to look.
I've added a new local user and since then, I only have a list of 2 users at the login prompt, instead of the 7 I should have.
How do I make all the users appear in the logging front page?

    thank you in advance

Hi, I would first make sure the users are really added. To do that go to terminal and type
    Code:
    cat /etc/passwd |grep home
and see if all names get listed.

If they are and you have KDE4.2, try Configure Desktop>Advanced>Login Manager (cannot remember if it was part of KDE4.1)

Thank you for the swift replies. Going to the desktop settings and selecting all the users for display did the trick.
    Thanks!
