Default SCIM IPA phonetics input method: keymap / keyboard layout?

Does anyone know where to find a keymap / keyboard layout overview for SCIM's IPA phonetics input method (UIM-ipa-x-sampa)? It's taking me for ever to figure out how each symbol is mapped ...

A quick spelunking yielded a likely candidate under 'File List' of 'uim' in YaST2:

    /usr/share/uim/ipa-x-sampa.scm

Experiment a little, and perhaps make a reference card, basing on the file.

I've been dabbling in SCIM-Anthy and have thought of using other foreign fonts as well.

Hey, thanks, that file was very useful.

I've also another IPA-X-SAMPA input method installed (came with 'scim-additional-tables', I think).

Any idea where the definition file for that one might be? I've searched my installation, but the only two files related to "ipa-x-sampa" are part of the UIM installation.

'spelunking', great word by the way; didn't know that one ...

Well, this is one for the books ... since the IM is called IPA-x-sampa, the basic for inputing IPA character is, of course, X-SAMPA. Duh ...

I just wanted to post this in case somebody else didn't 'get' it either (just look up the X-SAMPA chart for example here: X-SAMPA - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

BTW, the other IPA-x-sampa method included in the package 'scim-tables-additional" is rather convenient: One doesn't need to remember all input shortcuts; rather, pressing one key (for example '@') opens a menu of all related choices (here: ə, ɘ, and ɚ).
