Is NetStorage free?

Hi,

We are a Novell Netware house, who have not moved or paid for the upgrade to
OES, so currently, we can only run NetStorage on NetWare. When we trialled
OES2, we realised we could run NetStorage on the OES2 (linux) server and we
could use NetStorage to access our Windows servers and our Novell servers.

We do not want to commit to purchasing OES2 right now for various reasons,
but primarily financial.

Does anyone know if NetStorage is open source and available to run on
OpenSuSe?

Many Thanks
Alan

I don’t think so, it’s one of their flagship software so they would like to keep it closed :expressionless:

No and no.

Unlike iFolder for which there is an open source project, NetStorage is
only available as a component of Novell’s Open Enterprise Server product.
