Program to quickly switch windows

I’ve converted from WinXP to OpenSuSe 11.1 on my Thinkpad T42 laptop. I had reached the time to re-install WinXP so decided to try linux.
Some difficulties. Not sure hibernation is working yet, but hopefully it will.

Even got Remote Desktop (rdesktop) working to my remote WinXP; also Lotus Notes under Wine.

Lots of instability with KDE 4 desktop, but reinstalled with Gnome and it is much better.

But… the biggest application I miss is the following. I had this holdover from OS/2 (ex-IBMer) called “JumpKey” that let me define keys; e.g. ctrl-shift-t would switch me instantly to a telnet session - goes by the name in the title bar.
This was a terrific productivity tool.

I’ve been looking for this but no luck
Looked at the Linux keyboard mapping stuff, but that doesn’t seem to do it for me.

Anyone seen something like this? Would love to hear about it.

Thanks,

Jim
