Default Different mouse cursor themes in GNOME 2.26

    Hello,

I wanted to change my mouse cursor theme, so I downloaded the comixcursor theme from gnome-look. Installed the RPM and selected the theme in GNOME.

Now when I am in a GNOME application like terminal or firefox, the theme cursor shows, but when I'm on the desktop, the mouse reverts to the DMZ theme and is alot larger than I would like it to be. Even after changing it back to DMZ in the settings, it still remains like that.

I just uninstalled the cursor theme, but this doesn't help. When I am in firefox the selected theme (DMZ-small) shows. When I move to the desktop the cursor gets larger, but still the same theme. When I want to change the window size, it still shows the comix cursor theme....

    Any help would be appreciated!!

Did you logout and re-login after changing the cursor theme?

OTOH, take a look into "/usr/share/icons" as the cursors should have
    installed there.
