    Exclamation Eclipse slow typing

    Hello,

I recently installed the Eclipse IDE and noticed the typing is quite slow. Short text displays "almost" instantly but when I type fast there is a noticeable delay.
I'm only having this issue on Ubuntu and not on Windows and it's just the typing performance that is quite slow.

Is there any way to improve the performance of Eclipse on Linux? I've tried disabling settings such as spelling, mark occurrences , etc. with no result.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi!
Hav you tried to disable the 3.x theme? Do this in:
Window > Preferences > General > Appearance and change the Current Presentation to Eclipse 2.1.
