Thumbs down Firefox 3.0.4 on openUSE 11,1 doesnot show flash media

Have just installed openSUSE 11.1 and installed "flash-plugin-10.0.22.87-release.i386.rpm" according to the inatsll procedure in Adobe site.

    # rpm -Uvh flash-plugin-10.0.22.87-release.i386.rpm

Then, confirmed by keying in "aboutlugins" at URL field of Firefox 3.0.4 browsa.
Unfortunately cannot find any Flash plugin module in the list.

Advice me of correct install procedure of Flash Player for Firefox 3.0.4.

Hmm, why are you still using FF 3.0.4. The latest update for openSUSE 11.1 is 3.0.11.

Secondly the Flash plugin installed by openSUSE YaST works fine out of the box, why do you need to get it from Adobe?

Not sure about this version. But, I am using a later version and flash is working on that.
My current version is 3.0.11. So, try upgrading from the openSUSE Mozilla repositories.
Also, no need to download anything separately for flash plug-in.

To Flux Capacitor Penguin and Parent Penguin.
    Thank's for your quick recommendations.

Logged in YaST2 contol center, and updated applications by executing "Softwre Mgmt".

    The problem is fixed now.
