11.1 on ppc will install but not boot?

hello,
I can install suse 11.1 on my ppc imac but it will not boot. I go back into the installer to try and redo the bootloader but to no avail.
the bootloader will not install correctly.

i fitted a new hdd in the mac for suse, but everything seems fine with that. the hdd was just previously used as a storage drive for a windows box. don’t think it has any strange bootsector or anything.

can anyone shed some light for me.

ill provide more info if needed. im not in front of the mac at the mo.

thanks for that but i dont think it helps my situation,
there is no mac os on the disk ive installed 11.1 on, and I dont think i can get to a command line or anything to try to configure the bootloader, all I can do is boot form the cd but everything i try to do to install the bootloader fails?

help! :o)

still stuck with this problem! anyone else noticed the same issues?
