    Default KDE4 Plasma/Widget desktop icon

    Man... I feel so lame for asking this question but I cannot find a proper way to do this.

    That painter's pallet icon on the desktop (top right by default) that gives you (among other things) the menu to lock/unload widgets, etc... How do you get rid of that thing?

    If you click it then choose Desktop Settings, choose the Desktop Activity type as Plain Desktop (without the toolbox).
