Yast2 Software Management not working

Os version openSUSE 11.1
Application giving problem: Yast2
Problem: Whenever I try to install a software or try to get repositories it says:
System Management is locked by the application with pid3632(/usr/sbin/pakagekitd). Close this application before trying again.

What do I do?

Hi,

Try quitting the updater applet and then trying Yast. Or else hit ctrl+esc, find packagekit and kill it.
