Default font thumbnails in nautilus and font installation

I have recently updated from a mandriva/kde system where the default browser was able to show font thumbnails. Is there some way to do this with nautilus. I seem to remember in the dim and distant past when I previously used a gnome desktop that you could see font thumbnails in the file browser.

It would also be very nice to enable the installation of fonts via a right click with the mouse as per kde.

Is there a method to install new fonts via Yast or other interface. I was unable to find such an interface. I was able to do it via the command line fonts-config.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Marg

An update to the latest version of gnome solved the problem.
