Thread: KDE lost trash icon

    Smile KDE lost trash icon

I know I found this answer once before but I seem to have put it in the trash (OK, not funny)

I lost my trash icon, cannot copy it from root as it is gone from there as well. I know there is a text file to recreate it, but I lost it.

Anyone find the trash icon? I promise, I'll print the answer this time.

    Thanks

Right-click on the desktop. Create New --> Link to Location (URL)

The URL is 'trash:/' and give it a name (by default 'Trash').
