    Default cannot find drive

    my suse cannot find my Cd/dvd drive
    the error i am getting is:

    Unable to mount audio disc
    cannot find drive /dev/sr0

    do i need to reinstall the OS?

    Is this a fresh install of openSUSE? Which version of openSUSE are you using?

    Are you trying to play an audio CD or is it a data CD?
    openSUSE 12.3 (x86_64) with Kernel 3.7.10-1.16-desktop and KDE 4.11.2 on MacBook Pro
    Latest MS Windows version used: Win95

    Weird - I just put in an audio CD and cannot find it from the desktop. With Ubuntu, it just loads up.

    Some serious problems with this SuSe.
