Thread: KDE4 compiz? no winodw manager? :(

    Default KDE4 compiz? no winodw manager? :(

    So all the effects i want are enabled in compiz... but they dont work. I tried compiz --replace... and now my windows have no borders . help?

    personally I use kwin window manager, you still get the compiz effects

    The compiz version that comes with opensuse and is proposed by the community repo's is the one with the Nomad plugin and is broken.

    Please follow the instruction in this post to get it working, it did for me and a lot of other people :
