Default Don't know how to upgrade firefox in SUSE

Hi, I'm new to SUSE Linux and am currently using SUSE Linux enterprise Desktop 10 SP1. I would like to upgrade firefox from version 2.0.0.2 to the latest version but I encountered some problems.

Firstly, I downloaded Firefox 3.0.10.tar.bz2 and extracted to home folder. Then I tried to run the file Firefox but it says i need to upgrade GTK to newer version but I don't know how. Any other method can be used for the upgrade? Thanks for helping.

Add the mozilla repository to your list, when you add the repo the options are:

    http
    download.opensuse.org
    /repositories/mozilla

This gave me all the most up to date sotware from Mozilla - Firefox,Thunderbird, Lightning and Songbird.

    Chris
