How can i activate the switch effect feature?

I believe kde 4.2 comes with kwin which utilizes the switch effect. I was wondering how this can be done?

Hi,

Configure Desktop (Personal Settings)>Desktop>Desktop Effects>All Effects>Cover Switch or Flip Switch
