Default what is the easiest torrent to install in gnome?

    Hi.

I have opensuse 10.3, and after not been able to upgrade to 11.1, I have decided to download the 11.1 version.

Could someone please tell me if there is a 1 click install (as simple of an install as possible, new to linux) torrent program, so that I may download the new version?

    TIA!

Don't you have aria2 installed? Been a while since I played but I found it very nice way of downloading.

Download Help - openSUSE anyway a couple of clients mentioned here use what you know Vuze is java based and should be about i.e webpin, yast etc..
Man first, have a try at Info, have a look at Wiki, if all that fails Scroogle!!!!!
If I've helped click on the Rep button I don't know what it does but it sounds cool.

    From a terminal/console,
    Code:
    sudo zypper install ktorrent
openSUSE 12.3 (x86_64) with Kernel 3.7.10-1.16-desktop and KDE 4.11.2 on MacBook Pro
Latest MS Windows version used: Win95

I've used Azureus/Vuze for a long time now and like it a lot, though it's
an add-on (just download from Sourceforge and run) and not part of Gnome
(or anything else) specifically. It's also cross-platform which I
    personally prefer.

    Good luck.

Transmission is a VERY easy to use torrent client. Also you can check out Deluge

Thanks everyone for the quick replies!

I cant locate transmission, and for deluge, I cant find the opensuse version (there are other ones).
I managed to download the vuze one (Vuze_4.2.0.2_linux.tar.bz2).
Can someone tell me what to do next as I dont know how to install it
Or if the deluge or transmission is easier to install?
I've been using opensuse 10.3 at home, and I only use it for surfing, email, music and watching dvds, so no experience in much else. At work, the windows crowd is all over.

    Thank you.

    Try extracting it:

    tar -jxvf /path/to/Vuze_4.2.0.2_linux.tar.bz2

    Good luck.

both transmission and deluge are available from the Packman repo

    Code:
    http://packman.mirrors.skynet.be/pub/packman/suse/10.3
add the link above to your repository in Yast (if you don't have it already)

    Thanks!
I installed deluge through Yast by adding the above link.
    It was very easy.

I managed to install Vuze as well by right clicking and unpacking. It seems better but 'heavier' than deluge.
