Software installs, but doesn't run

I installed Multiplication Station, a math game for my child, from a repository on the opensuse site but it doesn’t run. MS shows up in the menu and yast says it installed fine. When I click on it from the menu or use the run command, I see it’s icon bouncing next to the cursor, but nothing happens beyond that.

I’ve had this problem with other software (mostly children’s games) in the past at opensuse 10.3 and now 11.0. Yast says all the dependencies are okay.

Am I missing some something?

At least run it from the command line. So that you can see any error messages. So that you can give us that information. So that we can have a start at looking at your problem.
