how connect Sony Cybershot Camera to USB

Connecting my Cybershot Camera to USB is NOT detected !!
ScanDisk stick well.
Can I download Sony Driver for Win XP and use Ndiswrapper to activate connection ??
using opensuse 11.0

NO !!! If you read first, you'd know that ndiswrapper is a utility to get Windows drivers working for wireless network cards.

This is weird, my experience is that every camera is recognized. Can you connect the camera, open a terminalwindow, run the command 'lsusb', and copy and paste the output here?

folks would advise to ensure that your USB cable is plugged into a USB port on the computer, and not through the intermediary of some sort of USB hub: recommend you try this direct plugging;
