Re: ok sorry but this is so so stupid! help please^^
Because if
a) you had messed up your personal config in your hone it will not be deleted, of course
b) the package had a bug (no, I don't know if it has one) reinstalling does not remove the problem, how should it?

Re: ok sorry but this is so so stupid! help please^^
Search and remove the screwed-up config files of course.
(And from now on, BACKUP your configs before you start screwing them up.)

Re: ok sorry but this is so so stupid! help please^^
but how do i identify them? like what makes them stand out and where do i look for them?

Re: ok sorry but this is so so stupid! help please^^
Search your home for files containing "cairo" or use "grep" to search files in your home containing "cairo".
Read "man grep" and "man find" for more information.
And if you find files matching your search patterns READ them before you delete them or MOVE them instead of deleting.

Re: ok sorry but this is so so stupid! help please^^
umm sorry, i am new to linux.. what kind of patterns?
-
Re: ok sorry but this is so so stupid! help please^^
Search patterns = "What you are searching for", so if you search for "cairo" your search pattern is "cairo".
So not linux-related at all.

Re: ok sorry but this is so so stupid! help please^^
Me too, pattern = "muster".
What you can try to have a quick overlook if it's rellay only a configuration problem, is to add a new user via YaST and login as the new user.
If cairo-dock is running there, you only screwed up your personal config.
