Smile Re: can anybody use google calendar with evolution?

I used 3rd party app called GCaldaemon with Kontact and that worked for me....not sure if it will work with evolution? I finally settled on Sunbird which has a plug-in for Google calendar and works really well, my wife and I share the same calendar and the updates show up immediately.

    Cheers!

Default Re: can anybody use google calendar with evolution?

That plugin (Provider for GCal I believe) also works with Thunderbird with the Lightning plugin (= same functionality as Sunbird).

And an Easter egg, since it's that time of year: If someone sends your gmail address an Exchange appointment, it gets inserted into your Google calendar automatically.

Cool Re: can anybody use google calendar with evolution?

Just follow the steps is this link and you should be able to use multiple calendars via caldav. Note: every time evolution starts and you go to you calendar you have to wait a bit. Once the connection is made everything goes smooth again.
