    Thumbs up KDE-TV problem

    Hi everyone

    I am running openSUSE 11.1 (default kernel), nvidia driver - NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.18-pkg1.run.
    My graphics card is GeForce - FX 5500

    I am using KDE-TV to watch analogue cable TV.

    Previously I was able control brightness going to the following menu.......

    Video --> Video hardware control

    and dragging the pointer on the brightness bar.

    But since 11.1 the bar has no effect!!

    I suspect it has something to do with XGL begin enabled by default, but that is just a hunch.... & I don't know much about XGL either...

    So can anyone please me help me out...??

    Thanks in advance

    Thumbs up Re: KDE-TV problem (SOLVED!!)

    Hi again everyone

    The problem seems to have disappeared!!!!

    I wish I knew what I exactly did that caused it to disappear....

    But I did a fresh install of my OS a couple of days back & did a complete updated...

    May be it has some thing to do with that, but I can't be sure

    Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know... sorry if I wasted any-body's

    No man, this is the way to do it. You've had the politeness to post that you solved your problem. Enjoy your openSUSE and feel free to ask any question. In the end that's making openSUSE better as well.
