    Probably a stupid question.

    But can you install OpenOffice version 3 if you are running OpenSuse 10.3 ?

    Yes; assuming you have the OOo repository enabled, check that.

    I have the OpenOffice stuff in YaST but it wasn't showing version 3.0.

    I added the repository linked on this site (I didn't know you could do this) using the one listed as stable.

    I now have version 3. My question probably sounds daft now, but I didn't know that it wouldn't include version 3 in my basic repositories and I, wrongly, assumed that meant that it wasn't possible to install version 3 on 10.3

    Not a stupid question by any means - it's the difference between a rolling release and a fixed release, basically.

    If there is any problem with repos, try the official build, it runs fine with openSUSE.
